Photography

As you can see on my homepage, photographing is one of my favourite hobbies. I started in 2002 with taking pictures on a music festival and got more and more fascinated by this and modifying them with software like GIMP or Photoshop.

I got many new ideas and hints from Practical Photography, Total Digital Photography (unfortunately not available anymore), The Basic Book of Photography and from The photoshop book for digital photographers.

Primary I take pictures from landscape, buildings and events. Portrait fotography would be an interesting field as well but beside the missing models I have hardly experience in that.

Although I like picture manipulation, the pictures on my homepage are hardly modified. Usually I just correct the horizontal line and boost the colour if it is necessary. Nevertheless you find under Favourite pictures some manipulated images.
